Spring has spring with vengeance! Last Wednesday's clean up was
focused on J G Strydom, jut up the road from the office. It's one
of those very busy roads that contains very few rubbish bins and
therefore in need of a cleanup.
We picked up 6 rubbish bags of general litter. Many beer
bottles, old newspapers and discarded lottery tickets. Because it's
a road where people sit in traffic on the way to work we noticed
that there were more than the usual amount of cigarette butts next
to the road.
After we finished our little section of the road I have to say
that it looked a lot better than before. Nice to see that we can
make a difference!
